James Charles Owens, 61, of Jemison died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born on Thursday, January 17, 1957 in Alabama, Son of the late William Hester Owens and the late Dorothy Weeks Owens. He was employed with Doster Construction Co., Inc. for 22 years. Surviving are Wife, Anita Owens of Jemison, AL; Son, Dustin (Nicole) Owens of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Jennifer (Shane) Hicks of Jemison, AL; Grandsons, Dalton Owens, Garrett Hicks; Granddaughters, Ava Grace Owens, Anna Kate Hicks; Brother, Randy (Gail) Owens of Jemison, AL; Sister, Debbie (Donnie) Allen of Jemison, AL; Aunt, Clydell Bice of Jemison, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, William & Dorothy Owens, Nephews, Bryant Owens, Heath Foshee, Trae Cobb and Niece, Morgan Cobb. Friends will be received from 10-11, Saturday, June 16, 2018 @ Thompson Chapel Assembly of God Church. Services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Thompson Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mark Bolton and Rev. Jeremy Davis officiating.
