James Harold PYRON, 76, of Clanton died Thursday, October 28, 2010 in Montgomery. He was born on Wednesday, November 8, 1933 in Chilton County, Alabama, Son of the late David Malcolm Pyron and the late Annie Cowart Pyron. He retired in 1988 as the assistant Postmaster with the U. S. Postal Service in Clanton, Alabama. Surviving are Daughter, Lori (Tim) Thompson of Montgomery, AL; Step-son, Jeff (Teri) Higgins of Clanton, AL; Uncle, Bill (Colleen) Cowart of Montgomery, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Johnson Pyron. Friends will be received from 11:30 to 12:30 am, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Martin Chapel.. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Melton Short officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. You may leave online condolences on the guest registry for the family at our website.
