He was born on Friday, December 22, 1933 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late James Fredrick Alexander Dennis and the late Sarah Belle Connell Dennis. He was a Mechanic. Surviving are Son, Mike (Karen) Dennis of Verbena, AL; Daughters, Susan (Jeff) Lowery of Jemison, AL, Sherry (Walter) Young of Merritt Island, FL, Vickie Banks, Texas; 3 Granddaughters, Wendy Young of Merritt Island, FL, Brittany (Nathaniel) Thomas of Verbena, AL, Lindsay (Johnathan) Deitrick of Jemison, AL; Grandsons, Garrett (Jennifer) Dennis of Jemison, AL, Jason (Shannon) Banks of Sarasota, FL; 4 Great-Grandchildren, A host of Nieces & Nephews; Special Friend, Nancy Younger; Brothers, Malcom Dennis of Bessemer, AL, Fred Dennis of Verbena, AL; Sister, Jettie Thomas of Bessemer, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Linda Dennis, Grandson, Travis Banks, Brothers, Ed, Herbert, Joe, Lamar, Clifton Dennis and Sister, Marrell Gray. Friends will be received from 12-1, Saturday, April 20, 2013 @ Clearview Baptist Church.
