James Randall "Randy" Gore

James Randall " Randy " Gore age 88 passed away on March 20, 2023 in Farmington Missouri.


Born on January 12, 1935 in Jemison Alabama to Claude Eugene Gore & LeFoyle Gervis Dorminey Gore.


Randy served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960.


He was a machinist for many years before opening up his first business known as G & G Hardware in Alief, Texas. In 1979 he and wife Barbara moved the hardware business to Hillsboro Missouri. In 1984 he moved to Fredericktown Missouri and opened up Mill Creek Bait & Tackle. He had resided in Fredericktown since 1984.  Randy enjoyed being outdoors sitting on his front porch enjoying a nice day. He loved his flowers and plants.  He enjoyed his football and racing.


Randy had one daughter with Barbara O'Brien, Julia Ann Gore Dodson (Kevin Payne) born in 1967. Surviving are his daughter, 7 Grandchildren, Crystal Dawn Quinn ( Thomas Maciel ), Karra Marie Lyng ( Richard Lyng ), Kyle David Wyckoff, Kylie Ann Wyckoff  ( Larramie Moore ), Samantha Lynne Dodson ( Blake Wilson ) Samuel Burns Dodson Jr., Sabrina Rose Dodson ( Connor Summerlin )


Randy was blessed with 8 Great Grandchildren: Trent Quinn, Gabriel Green, Katelynn Green, Rylee Lingelbach, Nolan Lyng, Kesleigh Wyckoff, Brinley Arnett, Everson Moore.


Randy has one sister, Donna Johnson who lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is survived by 2 nephews, Josh Dunham ( Susan ) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Jake Dunham ( Brittney ) of Trussville, Alabama 1 niece Rachael Frederick of Melbourne, Florida.   His step-sons, Doug Borgmann (Cathy) and Steve Borgmann (Pam).


Preceeded in death by his parents Claude & LeFoyle Gore, many beloved Uncles and Aunts.


There will be a graveside service at Chilton Memorial Gardens On April 3rd at 1:00 P.M.
