He was born on Sunday, September 16, 1917 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Houston Manning Lowery and the late Naomi Pate Lowery. He was a Government Employee. Lowery of Thorsby, AL, Myra Lowery of Thorsby, AL; Sons, Barry Michael (Barbara) Lowery of Dora, AL, Daniel H. (Margaret) Lowery of Thorsby, AL, Richard I. Lowery of Thorsby, AL, Phillip R. (Shelby) Lowery of Thorsby, AL, Joe W. Lowery of Thorsby, AL, Eric (Bette) Lowery of Jemison, AL; #12 Son, Verlle (Tina) Guin of Jemison, AL; 15 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Sister, Faye Smith. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Lowery; Son, James Keith Lowery; Father & Mother; 2 Sisters & Brother. Friends will be received from 5-8, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Clanton Church of God. Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Clanton Church of God with Rev.
