James Allen Shaw

James Allen Shaw age, 84, of Clanton, Alabama was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL.

He was born May 26, 1939, in South Carolina, son of the late Harold Shaw and Martha Shaw.

He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army.

James is survived by his loving Wife, Mary Virginia Shaw, Daughter, Kelle Shaw Herring (Paul Jr.), Son, James Harold Eugene Shaw, Granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Harold Shaw, Mother, Martha Shaw, Brother, Gary Shaw, Sister, Norma Shaw.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 12:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Vanderslice officiating.

A Graveside Service will be at 2:00pm at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in memory of James A. Shaw to the Wounded Warrior Project or Folds of Honor Foundation.
