James Herbert Smith

James Herbert "Herb" Smith, 85, of Centreville, Alabama passed away June 20, 2022 at his residence.

He was born July 28, 1936 in Alabama, son of the late James Arthur Smith and the late Lennie Mae Smith.

He was a logger, loved to coon hunt and an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Surviving are his Daughter, Liz (Mike) Crocker; Son, James Earl (Jeannette) Smith; Step-Sons, Pete (Cindy) Epperson, Ray (Christine) Epperson; Step-Daughter, Becky (Tim Wilson ) Bean; a host of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Lula Mae Cox, Janice Smith.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Kathleen May Smith; Father, James Arthur Smith; Mother, Lennie Mae Smith; Sisters, Jessie Lee Smith, Sara Nell Smitherman, Edna Faye Anthony; Brother, Carl Smith; Son, Donald Wayne Smith; Step-Daughter, Ginger Smitherman; Granddaughter, Jade Smith.

Friends will be received Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Randolph Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Randolph Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Interment will follow in Randolph Baptist Cemetery, Randolph, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Crocker, Cody Smith, Andrew Smith, Hunter Smith, Ryan Johnson, and Jerry Wayne Cox.
