She was born on Wednesday, August 12, 1953 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Clyde Mims and the late Mary Alice Ellison Mims. She was a Florist. Surviving are her Husband, Mr. Joe Knotts of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. Jody (Carol) Martin of St. Augustine, FL; Daughters, Mrs. Jennifer (Chad) Maddox of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Jessica (Andrew) Fayette of Clanton, AL; 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Sisters, 2 Brothers. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Clyde & Mary Alice Mims; 2 Brothers. Friends will be received from 1-2, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Bell Lane Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
