Janice G. Whitley Drinkard

Janice Whitley Drinkard, 78, of Jemison, Alabama passed away July 21, 2022 at her residence.

She was born May 10, 1944 in Ensley, Alabama, daughter of the late William Whitley and the late Louise Whitley.

She loved her family and friends more than life itself. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, and watching Alabama football. She was in Marketing with Bellsouth/AT&T for 42 years and a member of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her Daughter, Tracey Drinkard and her Sons, Daniel (Sandi) Drinkard, Jr. and Shane (Keisha) Drinkard; Grandchildren, Joshua Cork, Tabatha Cork, Cody (Courtney) Chapple, Zackery Drinkard, Ashley Drinkard and  Colton Drinkard; Great-Grandson, Jackson Cork; Sister-in-laws, Tina (Bill) Conn, Lisa Roberts and Dianna Markevich; Brother-in-law, Roger (Susan) Drinkard; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father, William Whitley; Mother, Louise Whitley; Husband, Daniel Wayne Drinkard; Grandson, Dylan Drinkard.

Friends will be received Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with Rev. Michael McCluskey officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
