Janice Clecker Hammock, 56, of Clanton died Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born on Sunday, July 21, 1957 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Eddie Will Cleckler and the late Louise Mims Cleckler. She was a Homemaker. Janice was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a fighter, and the strongest woman we have ever known. When the doctors told us there was no hope our amazing Lord and Saviour pulled her through. With everyone's prayers her final wish of being able to come home was granted where she passed peacefully. Praise our Lord and Saviour. Surviving are Husband, Mr. Danny Hammock of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Ms. Jennifer Haynes of Thorsby, AL, Mrs. Charlene (Josh) Dennis of Clanton, AL; Sons, Mr. Dewayne (Lindsey) Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Mr. David (Belinda) Hammock of Clanton, AL, Mr. Daniel (Stephanie) Hammock of Deatsville, AL; Sisters, Mrs Vickie (Larry) Payton of Jemison, AL, Mrs. Lisa (Mike) McKinnon of Thorsby, AL, Ms. Sandra Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Brothers, Mr. Wade (Vanessa) Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Mr. Ralph (Donna) Cleckler of Clanton, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, A beloved Chihuahua Pee Wee; Best Friend, Mrs. Janice Faye Cleckler. She was preceded in death by her First Husband, Mr. Hurtis Cleckler, Parents, Eddie Will & Louise Cleckler and Brother, Mr. Ronnie Cleckler. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, February 9, 2014 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
