Janice Ophelia Smitherman, 82, of Wilsonville, Alabama passed away October 14, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was born September 1, 1940 in Alabama, daughter of the late Curtis Smitherman and the late Ruby Smitherman.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
Surviving are her Niece, TommieAnn (Jim) Scott; Great Nephews, Zac Scott, Austin Scott & numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Curtis & Ruby Smitherman; Sister, Elizabeth Ann Fletcher; Brother-in-Law, Thomas Edwin Fletcher.
Friends will be received Monday, October 17, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.
Interment will follow in Montevallo City Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
