Janie Maud Woodfin

Woodfin, Janie M., 92, Verbena, AL peacfully passed away on 4 August 2009, in Prattville, AL She is preceded in death by her husband, Sponnie W. Woodfin, her son John Lee King, and her daughter Carolyn King Myers, her sisters Thula Yarbrough Spencer, Inez Yarbrough Zelinski and Gladys Yarbrough Fortner and her one brother O.M. "Blackie" Yarbrough. She is survived by her daughter Janet King Lewis (Larry), Nine grandchildren, Donna Myers, Kenneth Myers, Jeffrey King, Brenda Gardner, Karen Burchfield , Terresa Gunn (Randy), Catriona McBrayer, Amy Vice (Laurence) and Steve Lewis (Tammy), twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Verbena Baptist Church. Friends will be received, Saturday, August 8, 2009, from 10-11 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tony Christensen officiating. Interment will follow at Verbena Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home, directing.
