Jayce Mason Sanders, 17, of Verbena, Alabama passed away April 12, 2026.

He was born April 19, 2008, in Montgomery, Alabama, son of James "Jamie" Sanders and Amanda "Amy" Sanders.

He was loved by many friends throughout the community.

Surviving are his Mother, Amanda "Amy" Sanders; Father, James Elzie (Jamie) Sanders, Jr.; Grandmothers, Gertie (Elzie) Sanders, Cathy (Eugene) Farris; Sisters, Desha Sanders, Felisha (Isaiah) Taylor, Gina Sanders; Brothers, Dylan Sanders, Nicholas Shannon; Nephew, Kohen Taylor; and a host of special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his PawPaw, Charles Eugene Farris; PaPa, James Elzie Sanders.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be private at graveside at the Church of Robinson Springs, officiated by Rev. David Farris, Rev. Jacob Day, Rev. Andrew Farris, Rev. Bobby Littleton and Rev. Gary Jennings.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Farris, Macon Farris, Brantley Farris, Isaiah Taylor, Austin Moreno, Dakota Moreno, Micha Miller, Jace Anderson, and special best friend, "Peanut" Dakota Linsey.
