J. C. Evans, 75, of Thorsby died Monday, October 24, 2011. He was born on Wednesday, September 23, 1936 in Shelby Co., AL, Son of the late Edward Evans and the late Edna Evans. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Daughter, Michele Smith of Childersburg, AL; 3 Sons, Barry Evans of Sylacauga, AL, Jason Evans of Jemison, AL, Jeremy Evans of Pelham, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Larry Robinson of Thorsby, AL; 2 Sisters, DeLoyce Culp of Thorsby, AL, Joyce Stone of Sylacauga, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Debbie Evans and Son, Dennis Evans. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
