She was born on Saturday, April 14, 1928 in Clanton, AL, Daughter of the late Johnny Short and the late Leila Weldon Short. She was a Machine Operator. Surviving are Son, Joe (Carol) Dedman of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Nita (David) Summerlin of Selma, AL, Gina (Randy) Lecroy of Clanton, AL, Lisa (Jason) Paris of Deatsville, AL; 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, A Host of Other Family; Brothers, Melton (Linda) Short of Clanton, AL, J.W. (Glenda) Short of Alabaster, AL; Sisters, Sally Davis of Clanton, AL, Delene (Erskine) Carroll of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Johnny & Leila Short, Daughter, Sheila Ann Smitherman, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother. Friends will be received from 5-7, Monday, September 14, 2015 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Melton Short and Rev.
