Jerry Wendell Collins, 76, of Thorsby died Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born on Friday, August 14, 1942 in Michigan, Son of the late Marcell Collins and the late Birtie Edwards Collins. He was a Superintendent with Brice Building. Surviving are Wife, Sandy Collins of Thorsby, AL; Daughter, Jennifer Henry of Thorsby, AL; Granddaughters, Haylee Henry of Thorsby, AL, Hannah Henry of Thorsby, AL; Sisters, Mary Miller of Thorsby, AL, Joann Price of Thorsby, AL; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Marcell & Birtie Collins and Brother, Lewayne Collins. Friends will be received from 1-2, Saturday, November 17, 2018 @ Pates Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Pates Chapel Baptist with Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
