Jerry Lee Farmer, 76, of Billingsley, Alabama passed away December 28, 2024, in Clanton, AL.
He was born October 21, 1948, in Pensacola, Florida, son of the late William Farmer and the late Joyce Farmer.
Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Talawanda High School in Oxford, Ohio. Later he joined the United States Marines Corp where he was an Air Traffic Controller. He also worked as a Welder and Labor Foreman. Jerry loved his family, especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a volunteer for the local 4H for many years, and enjoyed fishing and being a master gardener in his spare time.
Surviving are his Wife, Patricia Ann Farmer; Son, Aaron (Erica) Farmer; Daughter, Emily (Kevin) Palmer; Son, Richard (Jessica) Powers, Nine Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren; Brother, James "Jim" (Connie) Farmer; Sister, Janet (David) Watson; & Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, William Jackson & Joyce Lee Farmer; Brother, Jack Farmer; Son, Nathaniel William Farmer.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Venue 36 (Beside Neighborhood Grill).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chilton County 4H Foundation.
