Jerry Paul Groom

Jerry Paul Groom, 73, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away June 19, 2024, at his Residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born February 15, 1951, in Alabama, son of the late Ralph Livsey and the late Flora Livsey.

He retired from the State of Alabama Department of Transportation.

Surviving are his Sons, Matt (Dixie) Groom and Curt (Valerie) Groom; Grandsons, Kristopher Groom and Mason Poe; Granddaughter, Abby Groom; Sisters, June Mims, Pam Smitherman and Joyce Trahan.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Evelyn Groom; Father, Ralph Livsey; Mother, Flora Nell Livsey; Grandparents, Curt and Mildred Groom; Uncles, Hank Groom and Bill Groom.

Friends will be received Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with  Bro. Dale Collins officiating.

Interment will follow in Mulberry Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, Alabama.
