Jerry Wayne Hood

Jerry Wayne Hood, 52, of Verbena, Alabama passed away December 20, 2021 in Verbena, AL.

He was born August 27, 1969 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, son of the late Jerry J. Hood and the late Joyce Adams.

Mr. Hood was a former Registered Nurse and Police Officer before he was a Electrician.

Surviving is his Daughter, Haley (Kendall) Bice; Sons, Hunter (Alyssa) Hood, Brantley Hood; Granddaughter, Adleigh Bice; Grandson, Elijah Bice; Step-Mother, Joan Hamilton; Sisters, Charlotte Rogers, Makayla (James) Jarrell; Nephew, Eastyn Jarrell; Niece, Ellison Jarrell.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Joyce B. Adams and Father, Jerry J. Hood.

Friends will be received Monday, December 27, 2021  from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Verbena Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
