Jerry Kendell Pate, 79, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1942 in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late John Pate and the late Evie Lou Ray Pate. He was a plumber. Surviving are his Wife, Kay W. Pate; Daughters, Becky Pate, Donna Pate (Jeff Curl) Davis; Sons, David (Sandra) Pate, Phillip Pate; 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Doris Smitherman. He was preceded in death by his Father, John Pate and Mother, Evie Lou Pate; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Vanderslice, Kenneth Moates and Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
