Jerry David Popwell

Jerry David  Popwell, 74, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 12, 2023, at Cedar Ridge in Clanton, Alabama.

He was born March 19, 1949, in Alabama, son of the late Ed Popwell and the late Dollie Smitherman Popwell.

He was an Electrician.

Surviving are his Sons, Anthony (Brianna) Popwell, Jerry Allen (April) Popwell; Grandsons, Logan Popwell, Peyton Popwell; Granddaughter, Addison Popwell; Sister, June Popwell Traywick; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Moates Popwell; Father, Ed Popwell; Mother, Dollie Mae Popwell; Granddaughter, Alexandra Popwell; Brothers, Pat Popwell, Gene A. Popwell; Sisters, Lula Popwell Bowden, Mary Frances Popwell, Myra Popwell Parker, Peggy Popwell Thompson.

Friends will be received Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

Interment will follow in Lime Springs Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cedar Ridge Veterans Facility at Post Office Box 280, Jemison, Alabama, 35085.
