Jesse E. Dawson, 80, of Jemison died Friday, January 13, 2012. He was born on Friday, September 4, 1931 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late James C. Dawson and the late Ethel Ray Dawson. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his 2 Daughters, Donna (Ralph) Hayes of Clanton, AL, Cathy Stovall of Jemison, AL; 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Clovisteen Dawson and Grandson, Rodney Hayes. Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, January 15, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 16, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery with Rev. James Cleckler officiating.
