Jessie Charles MARCUS, 89, of Clanton died Monday, August 10, 2009 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Friday, February 6, 1920 in Clanton, AL, Daughter of the late Vollie Littleton and the late Virgie Davis Littleton. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Grandson, Greg (Laurie) Marcus of Thorsby, AL; Granddaughter, Tam Patrick of Birmingham, AL; Great-Granddaughter, Kylee Patrick of Birmingham, AL; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Cecil Reed Marcus and 2 Sons, Randal Marcus and Ross Marcus. Friends will be received from 2-3, Thursday, August 13, 2009 @ Collins Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery, Thorsby, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
