Jessie Juanita Smith, 85, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 6, 2023, at Southland Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama.
She was born July 12, 1937 in Alabama, daughter of the late Sammy Melton and the late Jessie Melton.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her Son, Jeffery Smith; Daughter, Mona J. (William) Pike; Granddaughters, Courtney Gray, Heather (Kevin) Knapp, Jessica Jaunita Pike; Great-Grandsons, Barrett Gray, Noah Knapp.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Sammy Melton; Mother, Jessie Melton; Husband, Eugene Smith.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hughes and Rev. Shane Wyatt officiating.
Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
