Jewel Ellison, 88, of Jemison died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Tuesday, July 3, 1923 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Allie Plier and the late Lillie Mae Littleton Plier. She was a Cashier. Surviving are her Daughter, Yevonne Markovitz of Jemison, AL; 2 Sons, Chuck (Susan) Ellison of Jemison, AL, Jerry (DeDe) Ellison of Jemison, AL; 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Elsie Smith of Jemison, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles J. Ellison and Daughter, Linda Kay Ellison. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 @ Jemison First Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Jemison First Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Kent and Mike Green officiating.
