Jewell M. CALLOWAY, 85, of Verbena died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Prattville Baptist Hospital, Prattville. She was born on Thursday, May 8, 1924 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Milford Moore and the late Zeha Crowe Moore. She was a retired Post Master. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Mrs. Ann C. Rainwater of Billingsley, AL, Mrs. Cheryl C. Mills of Birmingham, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Brother, Mr. Paul Moore of Bessemer, AL. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, May 22, 2009 at Martin Chapel . Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009, at 1:00 pm. at Martin Chapel. Interment will follow in Verbena Baptist Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
