She was born on Sunday, December 10, 1916 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late James Baker and the late Mary Jane Moates Baker. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Son, Billy Joe Martin of Verbena, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Minnie Ruth Adams of Verbena, AL; Daughter-in-Law, Lois Martin of Clanton, AL, Christine Martin of Clanton, AL; Son-in-Law, James A. Adams of Verbena, AL; 15 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, August 9, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, August 10, 2008, at 2:00 pm. at Victory Chapel Church with Rev. Donnie Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045.
