He was born on Friday, June 21, 1946 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Luther Thomas Burnett and Ethel Leola Robinson Burnett. He was the Vice President of Standard Taylor Industries. Surviving are his Wife, Myra M. Burnett of Billingsley, AL; Sons, James Karl Burnett of Billingsley, AL, Jimmy Burnett of Billingsley, AL; Daughters, Sonya Norman of Billingsley, AL, Sherry Villa of Prattville, AL, Terry (Ronnie) Hadden of Jemison, AL; Mother, Ethel Burnett of Clanton, AL; Brothers, Paul (Linda) Burnett of Clanton, AL, Johnny (Jackie) Burnett of Jemison, AL, Kelly (Nina) Burnett of Clanton, AL; Sisters, Linda (Larry) Bussie of Clanton, AL, Deborah (John) Kee of Clanton, AL, Karen (Donald) Barr of Clanton, AL; 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father, Luther Burnett. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with Rev. Oneal Cleckler and Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.
