Jim CLECKLEY, 86, of Clanton died Monday, September 22, 2008. He was born on Sunday, April 2, 1922 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Pate Cleckley and the late Nancy Cleckler. He was a Welder. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Bessie Mae Cleckley of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Mrs. Gail (Lloyd) Turner of Anniston, AL, Mrs. Brenda (Ronnie) Widner of Hueytown, AL; 2 Grandsons, 3 Granddaughters, 10 Great-Grandchildren and a number of Nieces & Nephews; Brother, Mr. Robert (Jeanette) Cleckley of Billingsley, AL. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, September 24, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 2:00 pm. at Zion Ridge Church of God with Rev. Robert Barnes and Rev. Tony Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
