Jim D Norton, Sr.

Jim D Norton, 81, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 8, 2022 at  St.Vincent's in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was born March 18, 1940 in Cullman, Alabama, son of the late Charles Norton and the late Eileen Norton.

He was retired from the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Board as a Compliance Officer.

He was a member of the Woodlawn Lions Club in Birmingham, and a long standing member of the Clanton Lions Club.

Surviving are his Loving Wife of 60 years, Nancy Norton; Daughters, Renee (Marty) Martin and Jenny (Dan) Alred; Son, Doug (Tonya) Norton; Grandchildren, Casey (Rachel) Martin, Jesse Norton and Emily Norton; Great-Grandchildren, Ashlynn Jones and Brody Brasher; Brother-In-Law, Reeves Sims, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles Norton; Mother, Eileen Norton; Son, Dale Norton; Sisters, Charleen Sims and Martha Redmond.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Clanton, Alabama.
