Jimmie Ruth Dobbs, 88, of Clanton died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, May 9, 1925 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Acie Lawrence Smith and the late Viola Jones Smith. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Son, Joseph R. Dobbs, III; Daughter-in-Law, Sue P. Dobbs both of Clanton, AL; Granddaughter, Alicia Dobbs of Birmingham, AL; 3 Step Grandchildren: 8 Step Great-Grandchildren: and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends. Friends will be received from 6-8, Thursday, July 11, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, July 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev.
