Jimmie Ray Dorminey, 83, of Jemison, Alabama passed away April 22, 2020 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL. He was born May 9, 1936 in Chilton County, Alabama son of Jim Dorminey and Lillie Muncher Dorminey. He was a construction worker. Surviving are his Wife, Christine Dorminey, Son, James (Robin) Dorminey, Son, Johnny (Lori) Dorminey, Granddaughter, Ava Dorminey, Grandson, Jake Dorminey, Brother, Joe Dorminey. He was preceded in death by his Father, Jim Dorminey, Mother, Lillie Muncher Dorminey. A private graveside service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020, at Union Grove Community Church. Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
