Jimmie Tyus Harrison, Jr.

Jimmie Tyus Harrison, Jr., 83, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away peacefully surrounded by his family November 13, 2022 at his residence.

He was born January 20, 1939 in Alabama, son of the late Jimmie T. Harrison, Sr. and the late Lorene Walker Harrison.

He was a peach farmer since 1945.

Surviving are his Wife, Alice Faye Earl Harrison; Sons, Jimmie Lynn (Susan) Harrison, Timothy Earl (Kathy) Harrison, John Paul (Regina) Harrison; Daughter, Dena Faye (Gary) Jones; Brother, Jerry Harrison; Sister, Charlotte Lenoir; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Jimmie T. Harrison, Sr.; Mother, Lorene Walker Harrison; Sisters, Eunice Harrison Spiers, Carolyn Harrison Brown.

Friends will be received Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Powell and Rev. Gary Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, Alabama.
