Jimmie L. Mims, 69, of Clanton died Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Prattville. He was born on Tuesday, April 16, 1946 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Grady Mims and the late Cleo Adams Mims. He was a Brick Mason. Surviving are Sisters, Carolyn Brasher, Beverly (Jim) Spigner & Laura (Robert) Headley; 3 Nieces , 2 Nephews, 9 Great Nieces, 7 Great Nephews & 1 Great-Great Nephew. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grady & Cleo Mims & a Niece, Lynn Spigner. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, June 7, 2015, at 1:30 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Wendell Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL .
