He was born on Saturday, November 20, 1937 in Alabama, Son of the late Marion Lee Mims and the late Irene Robinson Mims. He was a Timekeeper. Surviving are Wife, Doris Marie Mims of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Susan Teresa Mims of Clanton, AL; Grandsons, Jeremy Dale (Fabyanna) Clark of Helena, AL, Corey Austin (Amy) Clark of Clanton, AL; Great-Granddaughters, Gabriella Grace Clark; Great-Granddaughters, Olivia Caroline Clark, Emma Elizabeth Clark; Great-Grandson, William Riley Clark; Sister, Melba Dee Calloway; Nephew, Chuck Calloway; Niece, Robin Ray. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Marion Lee & Irene Mims. Friends will be received from 1-2, Sunday, November 26, 2017 @ Providence #2 Baptist Church. Services will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Providence #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating. Interment will follow in Providence #2 Baptist Cemetery, .
