Jimmy L. Abbott, 71, of Maplesville died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery. He was born on Tuesday, June 11, 1946 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Cecil L. Abbott and the late Anna Roberts Abbott. He was a Crew Leader with Alabama Power Co. Surviving are Wife, Shirley Abbott; Son, Brad (Gina) Abbott; Daughter, Jan (Johnny) Freeman; Granddaughters, Jalyn Freeman, Jessica Freeman; Grandsons, Jackson Abbott, Aidan Abbott; Great-Granddaughter, Brayleigh Rogers. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Cecil & Anna Abbott and Brother, Charles Abbott. Friends will be received from 5-7, Tuesday, August 1, [emailprotected] Martin Funeral Home.
