Jimmy Wayne Cleckler

Jimmy Wayne Cleckler, 63, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 18, 2023, at St.Vincents Chilton.

He was born August 20, 1960, in Alabama, son of the late Clifton Cleckler and the late Elizabeth Cleckler.

He was a foreman with Asplundh for 35 years.

Surviving are his Wife, Rita Cleckler; Daughters, Caralyn (Douglas) Mims, Kayla Cleckler; Grandchildren, Anna Claire Mims, Zach Cleckler, Owen Mims, Hunter Cleckler; Brothers, Robert (Tiny) Johnson, John Wayne (Linda) Cleckler, Doug (Debra) Cleckler, Ralph Edwards; Sisters, Faye (Bill) Edwards, Betty Sue (Fred) Simmons, Alice Smitherman; A host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Clifton Cleckler; Mother, Elizabeth Cleckler; Brother, Randall Cleckler; Sister-in-Law, Tammy Edwards; Brother-in-Law, Charles Smitherman.

Friends will be received Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lomax Assembly of God.

Services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lomax Assembly of God with Rev. Erron Price officiating.

Interment will follow in New Cedron Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, Alabama.
