He was born December 5, 1948, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late John Edwards and the late Margaret Edwards.

He was a Welder.

Surviving are his Daughter, Janet (James) Cooper, Son, Tony (Becki) Edwards, Son, David (Becki) Edwards, son , Bobby Joe Edwards, Daughter, Misty (Shane Branch) White, 12 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Billy Edwards, Sister, Anita Powell, Sister, Brenda Loomis, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John William Edwards, Mother, Margaret Josephine Edwards, Wife, Mary Elizabeth Edwards, Grandson, Tyler Edwards, Granddaughter, Tara Edwards, Brother, Pete Edwards.

Friends will be received Friday, May 24, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
