Jimmy Elwin Griffin

Jimmy Elwin Griffin, 76, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 20, 2024, at his residence.

He was born November 10, 1947, in Alabama, son of the late John Griffin and the late Elsie Griffin.

He was a Foreman for Alabama Power and Owner of J & A Trucking.

Surviving are his Wife, Anita Griffin; Daughters, Donna (Tommy) Vines, Vikki (Shannon) Busby; Grandchildren, Kristen (Clint) Wyatt, Jessica (Trey) Calfee, Griffin Davis, Brynlee Davis; Great-Grandchild, Ivy Lynn Calfee; Brother, Dale (Evangeline) Griffin; Special Caregivers, Jim Miller, Faith Hubbard, Dee Adams, Barry Sessions.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John D. Griffin; Mother, Elsie Griffin; Daughter, Karen Denise Griffin; Brother, John Griffin, Jr.; Nephew, David Griffin.

Friends will be received Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Chilton County Humane Society at 139 Shade Tree Drive, Clanton, AL 35045, in memory of his beloved dogs Max, Pepi, and Toby.
