Jimmy Harold Baker

Jimmy Harold Baker, 82, of Billingsley, Alabama passed away January 4, 2023, at his residence.

He was born July 28, 1940 in Alabama, son of the late Alonza Baker and Mary Agnes Baker.

He was a Salesperson with Associated Groceries of the South. He was the owner of Baker's Grocery in Billingsley, Alabama.

Surviving are his Wife, Sherrell Eaton; Son, Christopher L. (Jillian) Baker; Daughter, Carla (Scotty) Cleckley; Granddaughters, Blythe  Crane, Chelsea Moore, Daylin Baker and Paisley Baker; Step-son, Lee Davenport; Step-Daughter, Jessica Barnes; Step-Granddaughters, Erin Hubbard and Kelsey Hubbard; Sister-in-law, Geraldine Baker; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Alonza Baker; Mother, Mary Agnes Baker; Brothers, Charles Baker and V. J. Baker; Sister, Grace Mims.

Friends will be received Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Roe and Rev. Doug Powell officiating.

Interment will follow in New Cedron Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Davenport, Timmy Mims, Brad Crane, Chris Baker, Tim Baker, and Scotty Cleckley.

The family will accept flowers or donations to New Cedron Baptist Church, 14581 County Road 37, Billingsley, Alabama 36006.
