Jimmy Lynn Smith, 70, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away October 15, 2025, at his residence in Thorsby, AL.
He was born October 20, 1954, in Alabama, son of the late Edwin Smith and the late Lois Smith.
He was a General Superintendent.
Surviving are his Son, Jason (Misty) Smith; Grandson, Gunner (Kandis) Smith; Sister, Glenda (Bill) Smith; Great-Grandson, Jase Smith; Great-Granddaughter, Jessa Smith.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Edwin Smith; Mother, Lois Smith; Wife, Donna Porter Smith.
Friends will be received Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Teddy Chadwick officiating.
Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to Pates Chapel Cemetery Fund.
