He was born on Sunday, October 7, 1956 in Clanton, AL , Son of the late James Luther Smith and the late Ruby Loese Sewell Smith. Surviving are his 2 Sons, Matthew Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL, Joshua Smith of Pelham, AL; 3 Sisters, Shirley (Jimmy) Dean of Dothan, AL, Judy (Darwin) Long of Clanton, AL, Anita (Dennis) Sullivan of Clanton, AL; Mother of his children, Linda Smith Coogan of Pelham, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Luther & Loese Smith; Stepfather, Dewey Baird; Sister, Patsy Spradlin and Sister, Jeanie Baird. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, December 19, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
