Joanne Myrick Griffin

JoAnne Myrick Griffin, 63, of Fountain, Alabama passed away July 2, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 13, 1961, in Tacoma, Washington, daughter of the late James Presley "Jim" Myrick and the late Bessie Montez Myrick.

She was formally employed with Alabama River Pulp Company and a caregiver to those in need. JoAnne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving are her Husband of 45 years, Robert Lynn "Robbie" Griffin, Daughter, Martha Danielle "Dana" (Reggie Barton) Griffin, Son, Jerry Blake (Haley) Griffiin, Grandchildren, Chandler Griffin, Ridge Griffin, Chevy Griffin, Aiden Barton, Remington Griffin, and Ryland Griffin, Sister, Carolyn Ann Busby, Brother, James Mitchell "Mitch" (Judy) Myrick, Brother, Donald Edward (Crystal) Myrick, Best Friend, Debbie Willis and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Presley Myrick, Mother, Bessie Montez Myrick, Father-in-law, Fred Griffin, Mother-in-law, Martha Griffin, Special Father-in-law, John McKenzie, Special Mother-in-law, Shirley McKenzie, and Brother-in-law, Larry Wayne Busby.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene, 271 Poplar Street, Monroeville, AL.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Johnny Stabler and Rev. Brandon Rowell officiating.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Justin Riley, David Willis, David Willis, II, Reggie Barton, Justin Webb, and Jake Stabler.

Repast will follow after the graveside service at the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene.
