Joe Earl SMITH, 65, of Jemison died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, August 19, 1943 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Joe Smith and the late Elizabeth Crumpton Smith. He was a Furnace Operator for the railroad. Surviving are his 2 Daughters, Shellie Smith of Prattville, AL, Donna (Darryl) White of Calera; 2 Grandsons, Parker Smith of Prattville, AL, Nick Calamas of Auburn, AL; 4 Granddaughters, Alex White of Calera, AL, Taylor White of Calera, AL, Nicole Calamas of Hoover, AL, Hannah Farmer of Hoover, AL; Son, Steve Farmer of Hoover, AL; 4 sisters. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Take' Smith. Friends will be received from 6-8, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 . Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009, at 10:00AM. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terry Smith and Bro. Evie Megginson officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
