Joel Douglas Baker, 75, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 23, 2026, at his residence in Clanton, AL.

He was born May 8, 1950, in Alabama, son of the late Obie Baker and the late Audrey Baker.

He was a Truck Driver.

Surviving are his Wife, Peggy Baker; Daughters, Brandi (Brock) Baker, Kerri (Ben) Watson; Grandchildren, Emme and Camden Baker, Ava Kate and Mollie Kelley, Barrett, Olivia and Madelyn Watson; Sisters, Linda (Charles) Sconyers, Elaine Smith, Ginger (Pete) Davenport, Carla (Charles) Cunningham, Jean Mims, Connie Frye, Cindy (Barney) Mims; Brother, Mark (Kelly) Baker.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Obie Baker; Mother, Audrey Baker; Grandparents, Estelle and Dee Bates, Jacie and Lena Baker; Sisters, Roxanna Lynn Baker, Virginia Ann Baker; Brothers, Bobby Wayne Baker, Barney Neal Baker, Shelby Dee Baker, Edward Durrell Baker; Sister-in-Law, Agnes Baker; Brothers-in-Law, Roy Mims, Don Smith.

Friends will be received Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Providence #2 Baptist Church.

Services will be held , January 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Providence #2 Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Cemetery of Clanton, Clanton, Alabama.
