He was a Correctional Officer. Surviving are his Wife, Sharon Beutler of Verbena, AL; 2 Sons, John (Tonya) Beutler of Clanton, AL, James (Kelly) Sims, Jr. of Cumming, GA; 2 Daughters, Angela (James) Gassaway of Columbiana, AL, Djuana Sims (Donnie) Burns of Luverne, AL; 4 Sisters, MaryBelle (Paul) Picard of Jacksonville, FL, Rosann Young, Oregon, Anita (Denny) Green of Port St. Lucie, FL, Patricia DiDonato of Ft. Pierce, FL; 4 Granddaughters, 2 Grandsons; 2 Aunts, Patti Williams of Ft. Pierce, FL, Genevieve Belec of Southbury, CT. Memorial graveside services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Chestnut Creek Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Burns officiating.
