John Andrew Cannon, 63, of Clanton died Monday, December 28, 2015 at UAB, Birmingham. He was born on Thursday, February 7, 1952 in Dale Co., AL, Son of the late Ralph Cannon, Sr. and the late Grace Spurlock Cannon. He worked in the Finance Department for the State of Alabama for 25 years and AT & T Montgomery office. Surviving are Wife, Anita Cannon of Clanton, AL; Son, William G. (Amanda K.) Cannon of Deatsville, AL; Stepson, Geoffrey Johnson of Denver, CO; Brothers, William Cannon of Ozark, AL, Ralph Cannon, Jr. of Ozark, AL, Carroll Cannon of Ozark, AL; Sister, Brenda Morimoto of Smith Station, AL. Friends will be received from 10-11, Thursday, December 31, 2015 @ Providence #2 Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Providence #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Bonds and Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating.
