John William Carroll

Carroll, Mr. John William, age 78, a resident of Clanton, AL died on Monday, January 16, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Carroll was born August 26, 1938 to the late George Homer and Ruth Carroll. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Randy) Edwards and Stephanie (Keith) Popwell; grandchildren, Whitney (Alex) Joy, Shelley (Scott) Mims, Kateland Williamson, and Brian Popwell; great grandchildren, John Paul Mims and Patton Joy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Carroll and a sister, Kay Ballard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am from Concord Baptist Church. The family request donations be made to The Gideon International, Wounded Warrior Project, Lottie Moon or to your favorite charity.
