John Ervin DOAK, 84, of Homewood died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. He was born on Thursday, February 11, 1926 in Lebanon, TN, Son of the late Ervin Foster Doak and the late Paula Pitt Doak. He was a Dispatcher. Surviving are his Wife, Virginia Doak of Homewood, AL; Son, Steve (Sally) Doak of Bluff Park, AL; 2 Grandsons, Daniel Doak of Bluff Park, AL, Jacob Doak of Bluff Park, AL; Granddaughter, Hannah Doak of Bluff Park, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ervin & Paula Doak; Sister, Vivian Doak Hinson and Brother, Charles L. Doak. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 1:15 P.M.. at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montvallo, ALwith Rev. Eugene Nail officiating.
