John Wesley Gandy, Sr.

John Wesley Gandy, Sr., 81, of Clanton, Alabama passed away May 26, 2023, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

He was born July 18, 1941, in Alabama, son of the late G.H. Gandy and the late Ruth B. Gandy.

He was a Supervisor at a Plastic Manufacturing plant.

Surviving are his Son, John Wesley (Sherry) Gandy, Jr.; Grandsons, Wes Gandy and Corey (Kayla) Gandy; Great-Grandchildren, Presley Gandy, Dawsyn Gandy,  Tripp George and Reese George, Step-Grandchildren, Heather (Chris) George and Miles (Kara) Snider; Sisters, Nell  Black and Faith (Billy Joe) Stagner; a host of neices and nephews, and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Johnnie Faye Gandy; Son, Danny B. Gandy; Father, G.H. Gandy; Mother, Ruth B. Gandy; Brother, Wayne Gandy; Sister, Docie Lee Dodd.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville, Alabama.
